This is cool, but since this was in 2005 it NEEDS to be updated. What about:
Trophies?
Gear?
Medals?
Medal points?
Art?
Rating?
Submitted stages?
Sticker orders?
RANK??? The most important, critical, and noticeable of all!?

I gave this a 7 because it is almost 5 years later and slightly outdated, but if this was still in 2005 it would have been the shit! It has so much potential. Whether you are still out there or someone else, please someone remake this!

Why do people like this?

It looks like I'm the only one who has to say this, the game is too simply made. There is nothing special about it other then the annoying fact that you mainly stay invisible, and if you fuck even the slightest thing up your ruined before you realize it's already too late. The background, design, and effects truthfully could have been made by anyone, there is no sound effects when you land so you can't tell where you are, the controls feel stiff and sloppy at the same time (yes, they CAN co-exist), and I found no fun in the entire game. This isn't the kind of challenge you want to deal with, it's the cheap, cheating kind of challenge that you can't get no matter how hard you practice, you can not possibly expect people to pass these levels without dying under these mechanics. Nobody ever did this concept because nobody bothered to do something so irritating. Just because there is an upsetting twist it doesn't mean it should get all of the recognition it is getting. Other then not seeing or hearing the person you control, there is nothing truely "great" about this game and you all know it. I don't care if all of you press the Useless Review button because of the low score I gave it, I don't care, go ahead and press it! Because that's what I think it diserves.

Great game!

I love it! The whole design of the game feels really peaceful. I really hope it atleast gets nominated for NG award. Oh yeah, Sequel Plz.

Good game,

But please fix it. You even said that the programing wasn't your fault. Even though it possible to get 1337 blocks, NOBODY should have to go through the mental pain of memorizing where the blocks are going to be. Even f you know of the "safe zone" you still have to time your jumps, and it is very hard when not only can you not see your character, but the blocks too! I don't know much about ActionScripting, but it's very simple: The screen moves slightly to fast, so slow it down.

And by the way, game-mechanic wise, Ninja IS near impossible to get. The only few people I know who got it is because of a glitch (or so they say.) I don't know who programed it, but it needs to be fix. It just isn't fair if the commands just don't react fast enough to wall jump again, it is not too late to fix if the game wasn't like you wanted it to be.

Other then those couple of flaws I would say this is a pretty decent game, fun and addictive.

Nobody likes this game.

But for all of the wrong reasons, you MADE IT so people can hate it. It's only sole purpose is to piss people off so you can laugh at people for working so hard trying to earn medals. I could understand a challenge, at first thats what I just thought it was, I mean people have done it, right? But after a few weeks in I noticed in some sources you were acting like a douche/cunt/dick/ass about the difficulty of the game, and then it hit me that you made it like that on purpose.
This could have been an NGaward winning classic, instead you fucked it up! This game wouldn't be so hard, or hated, it could have even been FUN if it wasn't for the fact that you get one life, one fucking life, I wouldn't even mind hit points, Alkie Kong's hard mode atleast had two, that game is harder but atleast it has effort and wasn't made to piss us off. The slightly stiff controls don't help either, it feels like your controlling a block with legs.
It's also boring. I would say something about no backrounds or no music, but that's probably a good thing, because knowing you we will probably be forced to listen to the same song all over again, and it will probably be something ear-bleedingly painful. You couldn't even get your OWN medals, that means you never finished the game yourself. You just purposely made it too frustrating making it impossible for it to be liked (with the exception of you and the douchebags who couldn't care less about the medal system and just like to laugh their asses off at other people's frustration) for what could have been a great game. You had the chance, and you butchered it.
Dickweed.

You sound like someone whining about cheating after losing at a multiplayer game.
In fact it's exactly the same... I, the game designer, was your challenger and despite weeks of attempting to beat me you couldn't so now you're whining that i wasn't fair to you.
Of course i'm here laughing at your pain... you failed so miserably, how can i not?

I love this game so much!

One of the most fun games I played on this site, Why can't this game get freakin' medals?!!!

This game was awesome!

I think for the first in a very long time I every now and then forget this game had medals, it's THAT good! You somehow made your last madness themed game even better!
An almost perfect game version of Madness Consternation. Very little flaws I could think of. You could have had the option of choosing to either swap the weapons yourself OR to have it autmatically by steping over it (like before it was edited). But that's not a major concern.

There is so many more mysteries!

I think is was all explained in the interview, but it still doesn't stop the unanswered questions! Such as:

Was the mannequin alive the whole time? Being it was bleeding when you pulled the pin out when you saw it later.
Who did the stomach belong to? Was there someone before you, someone who had one of the rooms, or one of "them".
Was the baby you heard crying in the cellar the one that belonged in the house you been to before? No matter How many times you narrow it down, it was creepily the only human voice you heard.
How could there have been a bus crash on the second floor? (More of a plot hole but still). And why were no bodies found?
Who or what trashed the baby's room? Was it the same person/creature that made the ornament turn on? And depending on whether you choose the clean towel after, why was that and the music box the only 2 things not touched?

There is so many secrets and mysteries it makes your head spin! If it was all a dream that could be a good explanation too, but you could do better then that.

The only flaw is that the secret medal really isn't all that explanatory...
If you miss it you'll spend the whole rest of the game messing with unrelated items trying to figure it out.

I say the game is TOO hard.

Don't get me wrong, its a great game to play, but there is so many flaws it just ruins most of the fun, not counting all the glitches. The fights are, ridiculous, I don't even know where to start. I'm on freaken wuss level and I'm still having a hard time. I can't even get past stage 2! (The first boss). The upgrades barely help, and if you are lucky enough to get through the, whatever they are, you can't go back. So that means you are forced to fight the boss that never seems to die with what you have, which most of the time isn't enough. I spent an hour trying to go through the first level of the game. So you have to use the red orbs you obtained, you can't collect more and you can't trade back. I mean theres 5 levels, you can't make one of them somewhat normal?!?

1. Fix some of the bugs and glitches. (mainly when you start the match) The game is hard enough as it is so we don't need something like that would make it worse.
2. Have a less cheap powerup system. You get too few orbs for all of the stuff you have to upgrade to help. Unless you spend hous on the first level.
3. There must be a way to get out of that bomber's grip.
4. I say there should be more freedom to move around in, like a bigger area to get out of the way. (Not really an important reason but still something to consider). I know the first room is tall, but its not WIDE enough.
5. You need to have some kind of easier way to recover hp. Yeah I know, theres potions for that. WHICH YOU ARE FORCED TO WASTE YOUR UPGRADES ON! And if you die after using one, its lost forever. What are you going to do on a boss battle when you can't get anymore red orbs to get the extra health? And they have to be so expensive?
6. Bosses have too much health
7. My biggest problem, and (in my opinion) the biggest flaw in the entire game: There needs to be a way to shield. He has a double sword and a giant ass blade, you think he could use that to block? Some attacks are basically unavoidable and dodging sometimes doesn't help since another enemy could be right in your path. Even if it wears out, or if its limited, or if you use demons as human sheilds and they break the first time somethign hits them, you need another way to defend yourself. If a sheild/ shielding was added it will effectively cancel out everything I said earlier.

I could understand how hard you must have worked on this but for the love of god make it reasonable. With all my ranting you all must think I hate this game, I don't, its badass and fun to play! I especially like the comic parts. But just because theres a dark story and envolves swords doesn't make it GOD. I'm not to familiar with the series so don't go flaming me, but you have to give us a break.

Not bad, I kind of like it.

With practice I could try to playi t through as fast as I can to make a personal recor score. But of course there is no award for doing that. I found the game a bit addictive because I was determined to get it through faster each time.
